Cap Cana is located just 10 minutes from the Punta Cana Airport, which has non-stop flights to dozens of United States cities and easy connections through Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Atlanta. Cap Cana is literally 3.5 hours or less from anywhere on the US east coast.
In addition to the Puna Cana Airport, our capital, Santo Domingo, is served by Las Américas International Airport. The airport has two terminals; the newer one just completed in 2006 added four more gates. This up-to-date facility handles more than 2.5 million passengers per year.
Air Santo Domingo, a national airline, offers daily flights to the main airports of the country. But the Dominican Republic is also served by such airlines as American Airlines, Continental, Northwest, Copa, Aerolineas Argentinas, Iberia, Air France, Martinair Holland, TAP, and others. Check individual airlines for details.
